Prescribed Usage

Use this medication exactly as prescribed by your physician. Do not exceed recommed doses, increase frequency of intake, or prolong usage beyond what was directed without consulting the doctor.

• Swallowing: Capsules must be taken whole; do not chew, crush, or open capsules.

• Hydration: Drink plenty of water while using this medicine to ensure proper hydration and absorption.

Dosage Information

The dosage will vary based on several factors including your condition and response. Always adhere strictly to the dosage outlined by your healthcare professional unless otherwise instructed.

For Acute Diarrhea

For Capsules:

• Adults over 13 years children over 12 kg: Start with a dose of 4 mg two capsules after the first loose bowel movement, then follow up with 2 mg one capsule after each subsequent loose bowel movement starting from this point. Do not exceed 16 mg 8 capsules in total dly.

• Children aged 8 to 12 years weighing over 30 kg: Take 2 mg 1 capsule three times a day.

• Children aged 6 to 8 years weighing between 20 and 30 kg: Dose is the same as for children under 8 kg but take it three times a day.

• For infants and toddlers under 5 kg or younger than 2 years, dosage should not be attempted unless directed by your doctor.

For Oral Solution:

• Children aged 8 to 12 years weighing over 30 kg: Take 2 teaspoons 2 mg three times dly.

• For children aged 6 to 8 kg weighing between 20 and 30 kg, dose is equivalent.

• For infants under the age of 5 years or weighing below 20 kg, do not attempt dosage without medical advice.

For Infants Under 1 Year:

Dosage should be determined by pediatrician and administered as directed.
